Live in Bali

Flint Street Design Blog

"You live in Bali? It must be fun live in there!"

Yeah, all people always say that when i tell them i will be in Bali for a long term. Well, after a few months i live in here, there's some feelings that i cannot describe with many words. But here in my blog, i will try to tell you about it, because you should know all about it. Something you never find it everywhere,

So, here are some experiences i've got for living in Bali:

Learn How to Speak Bahasa Indonesia and Balinese

Yes, it's important to understand local's language that has a very different grammatical with our mother tongue language. Indonesian must be surprised and very pleasant to us who can speak or understand their language. Because not all people here can speak english well. So, it's time for me to learn their language, so that i can communicate with all people here. Say hi to every Balinese who are very nice to me. They always smiling to everyone and helping each others. The situation that i cannot find in every countries. That's why i love live in here.

Learn How to Drive a Motorcycle

It will be more simple if you use motorcycle rather than car, to drive you everywhere you want to go. In Indonesia, you'll find a traffic jam in every city, such as in Kuta or Denpasar, Bali. So, it will be easier if you use motorcycle to go everywhere you want. Don't worry if you cannot use it yet. As i mentioned before, Balinese people always helps us if we need a help. So, you can learn how to drive your motor with your neighbour every time you want. Except, when they are busy xD

Learn How to Surf

Maybe, i'm not the professional one. But, at least, i can stand on the surf board and play it right :D. I think some of people in Bali aren't able to do surf, just like me. I mean, not all people in Bali can do it. But in my opinion, when you are in Bali, it's an obliged an fun activity to do in this island of God. Off course, because i cannot do surf in my village :D. So it's the best time to surf!

After all, live in Bali is very pleasant things! Me, i don't want to go home, because i feel Bali is just like my second home, a place where i can find my other family in Indonesia right now.

Love, from Bali.
